Evelyn N. St. Clair, 91, of Yakima died Friday, September 23. Mrs. St. Clair was born in Labette County, Kan. She worked at Boyd Olofson and Co. for more than 20 years, and then started her own accounting practice, which she operated until 1989. She lived in Salem, Ore., from 1989 until 2006, when she returned to Yakima.
Survivors include a son, Paul St. Clair of Seattle; two daughters, Mavis Ellis of Yuma, Ariz., and Mona St. Clair of Tualatin, Ore.; two brothers, Gaylord Newby of Yakima and Dale Newby of Walla Walla; two sisters, Cecelia Thompson of The Dalles, Ore., and Lorna Walker of Salem.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Living Care Chapel in Yakima. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
