Arthur England Howie, 91, of Yakima died Sunday, September 18.
Mr. Howie was born in Beebe Plain, Vt. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a principal for many years in Cajon Valley School District in El Cajon, Calif. He lived in the Yakima area for more than 36 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Howie of Yakima; five sons, Ronald Howie of San Jose, Calif., Michael Howie of Manteca, Calif., Douglas Howie of Selah, Lawrence Howie of Spring Valley, Calif., and Kenneth Howie of Yakima; two brothers, Clarence Howie of Yakima and Robert Howie of Paso Robles, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory.
