Howard Hartinger, 73, of Yakima died Friday, September 9. Mr. Hartinger was born in Mandan, N.D., and lived in the Yakima area most of his life. He was a mill worker for Layman's Mill and retired from Boise Cascade after more than 37 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Hartinger; a daughter, Lori Desgrosellier of Yakima; a brother, Gary Hartinger of Oregon; two sisters, Coleen Brashears and Lavonne Hartinger, both of Selah; and two grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
