Edwardo Rodriguez, 82, of Sunnyside, passed away on October 3, 2009 at Hillcrest Manor in Sunnyside. He was born in Premont, Texas. Edwardo was a farm laborer in Sunnyside for many years before retiring, and raised his family here. He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by daughter Mary Gomez of Sunnyside; three sons, Ross Rodriguez of Grandview, John Rodriguez of Sunnyside and Wally Rodriguez of Spokane, and by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing for Edwardo Rodriguez will be held Tuesday October 6, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Sunnyside. A Rosary will be said Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. also at Valley Hills Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday October 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA. Valley Hills Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
