Cirilo (Pelon) Reyes
Yakima – Cirilo (Pelon) Reyes went to be with the Lord October 13, 2009 in Yakima, WA. Cirilo was born in Toppenish, WA to Rosie Reyes and Eusileo Reyes. He was raised and received his education in Yakima. He joined the Marines at the age of 18. He was employed in Seattle for many years. Most recently he was employed in construction. He enjoyed spending time with his family, repairing cars and helping others. Cirilo loved to cook and share his culinary skills with his neighbors, family and friends. He was a very giving person. Cirilo also loved taking pictures and sharing his stories and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his parents Rosie Reyes and Eusileo Reyes; brothers Mark (Angie) Reyes of Longview, WA; Paul Reyes of Kelso; sisters Cindy Castaneda of Colorado Springs, CO, Rowena Najera of Mill Creek WA and Vicky (Fernando) Gonzalez of Yakima and aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother Peter Reyes and grandparents and uncles.

Special thanks to all our family and friends for their love, prayers and support, and also to Hospice and the staff at Parkside Nursing Home.

Viewing and services will be held at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Yakima. Viewing will be on Friday October 16 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., a vigil service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday October 18, and a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday October 19 with burial to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
