Judith Ann Heintz, 65, passed away on Friday October 28th after a year long battle with breast cancer. Judy was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota on February 23, 1946 to John and Helen Thiel.
The family moved through Montana, Oregon, Central Washington and settled in Grandview. Judy graduated from Grandview in 1965. While working at Prosser Pack she met Roger and married him in 1971. They moved to Granger where they raised their 3 children and later divorced. Judy worked for CountryRose, Circle L Mini Mart and eventually Trues Auto Sales(Plaza) where she was the bookkeeper for over 20 years.
Judys greatest Joy was spending time with her kids and grandkids, sewing, crafting, baking and having tea parties with the kids. Grandma Judy never missed an opportunity to spoil anyones kids.
Survivors include her son Joseph(Dena) Heintz of Meridian, ID; daughter, Stephanie (Joel) Sanchez of Granger; eight grandchildren, Kati, Trey, Devan, Taytum, Ethan, Mikaylee, Mikenzee, and Cane; one great grandchild, Jayden; siblings, Jim Thiel of Minnesota, Barbara Copley of Utah, Eunice Rice of Oregon, Nick Theil of Wisconsin, Sharon Nelson of Utah, Bonny Belch of Washington, Linda Bowen of Washington, Steven Thiel of Washington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy is preceded in death by a son Michael Heintz; brother, John Thiel; sister, JoAnne Boggs and parents, John and Helen Thiel.
Visitation will be held on Monday Oct. 31, 2011 from 1-7pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday Nov. 1, 2011 at 10:00am Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery. I was saddened to hear of you mothers passing. My prayers with you and your family as well as your brothers. I know how hard it is to go through such a loss. But, know that the separation is only temporary and that you will see her again.

My heart goes out to you and your families. Your Mom was a very special person and I have great memories of her from when we were kids. I remember all the 4th of July's at her house and catching air on Kirks Road coming back from swimming.

My name is Cori Samples and I work at Toppenish License Agency. When Trues was in Zillah we did all of their paperwork. We all loved working with Judy. She always had us laughing about something! She was a wonderful lady!!! We are very sorry for your loss!!! Your family is in our prayers!!!
