Dorothy Ruth Cortez, 81, of Yakima passed away Sunday, October 11 at home in Selah. She was born April 28, 1928 in San Diego, CA. Mrs. Cortez was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Arthur Cortez of Selah; two sons, William Joseph Cortez of Florence, AR and Robert Michael Cortez of Altoona, PA; two daughters, Ruthanne Cortez-Weiss of Selah and Dorothy Marie Cortez of San Diego, CA; a sister, Mary Saunders of Concord, CA; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 4 p.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral in Yakima.
