Thora Georgina Wood, 98, of Grandview died Sunday November 8. She was born in Minneapolis, Minn. She lived in Toppenish for 58 years. In 2000, she moved to Orchard House in Grandview.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet Mains of Bickleton, Sandy Hixson of Sun City West, Ariz., and Linda Ahrens of Cannon Beach, Ore.; a sister, Marguerite Anderson of Gig Harbor, Wash.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Zillah Cemetery. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Zillah.
