Donald Leland Schlagel, 87, of Yakima died Tuesday, November 22, at Apple Creek Adult Family Home.
Mr. Schlagel was born in Yakima. He was an apple rancher in the Yakima Valley for most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Schlagel; four daughters, Donna Fuhlman, Janice Pease, Susan Potter, all of Yakima, and Sharon Handlos of Brush Prairie; two brothers, Walt Schlagel of Yakima and Bill Schlagel of Othello; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home, Yakima.
