William Edison (Plugger) Plughoff Jr.
YAKIMA - William Edison (Plugger) Plughoff Jr., our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather left us to join his dad in Heaven on November 3, 2009 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Bill was born on February 6, 1941 in Burns, Oregon to Bill Edison Plughoff Sr. and Grace Ann Hargis. He graduated in 1959 from West Valley High School, having earned a letter in both baseball and football. June 3rd, 1961 he married the love of his life, Darlene Mae Riel. Bill worked for Karl's Shoe Store that then transferred them to Eugene, Oregon. They later returned to Yakima after a year where he had began his career as a car salesman, working in several different dealerships. Bill was such a good salesman, that he could have sold ice to an Eskimo. Having been an avid hunter and fisherman, he had many dogs over the years but his greatest love was his much-loved Shih-Tzu "Co Co." Bill will always be remembered by all for his love and his friendship. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Darlene; four children Bill, John, and Shawn (Patsy) all from Yakima, daughter Tammy (Brian) of Selah, and four grandchildren, John and Jacob of Yakima, Tyler and Makayla of Selah. He is also survived by his mother Grace and brother Paul both of Yakima. The family would like to thank his home healthcare givers Lori, Lorenda, and Shelley, and all of the nurses and aides of 3 west at YVMH for their kindness and support during this difficult time. At Bill's request, there will not be a funeral. A memorial for Bill will be held on November 21, 2009 from 12:00-3:00 PM at Carriage Hill Mobile Estates space 51 802 N 40th Avenue in Yakima. We encourage all of his friends to come and share memories of Bill with his family. Send condolences at www.valleyhillsfh.com.

Very best wishes to all the Plughoff's in the loss of Bill. I have nothing but the best memories of Bill "Deeker" visiting when they lived on the ranch. Bill's Father and my Dad who were brothers knew how to have fun. It is nice to know Bill is with them all now.
