Verne A. White, 84, of Moxee died Monday in Yakima. Mr. White was born in Montour, Idaho and served in the Army during World War II. He lived in the Yakima area for more than 35 years and worked as plant manager for Bell Telephone Co. for many years.
Survivors include his companion, Joan Gross of Moxee; two sons, Danny White of Spokane and David White of Moses Lake; and a brother, Allen White of Coos Bay, Ore.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the service should meet at the cemetery. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
