Blas Huecias of Mabton, Wa. died on January 3, 2012. He was born in Las Palmas, Nayarit, Mexico on May 18, 1957 to Santos Huecias and Maria Luisa Rodriguez de Huecias.
He was a loving father and grand father who adored his one and only grandchild Christian Kai Huecias. He had a great heart, always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a gentle soul, and was loved by all. He always had a great smile and would brighten up the room with his jokes. He loved soccer and boxing and fishing.
He was married to Sylvia Tepeque de Huecias. He was survived by Fabian Huecias, Blas Jr. Huecias, Enrique Huecias, and Julia Huecias.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 2 pm - 8 pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday January 9, 2012 at 1 pm at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview. A Christian Burial will follow at the Mabton City Cemetery.
