Walter T. Heath, 93, of Yakima died Tuesday, January 10. Mr. Heath was born in Beach, N.D., and served in the Army. He had lived in the Yakima area since his early 20s. He worked as a restoration carpenter on dams in the state and for Hanford and Fort Simcoe for nearly 10 years. He retired as a barber after 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Ferne Heath of Yakima; a son, Bill Heath of Ellensburg; a daughter, JoAnne Heath of Bellevue; a sister, Frances Lessard of Terrace Heights; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services are pending. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
