Karen K. Weisz
Karen K. Weisz, 70, of Toppenish went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 28, at home. She was born in Yakima on October 23, 1941, to Albert and Lola (Downey) Dillman. She was raised in Wapato.

Karen married Gary Weisz on January 4, 1974, and together they made their home in Toppenish. She had worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed reading and taking daily walks with her dogs. An undying love for animals led her to rescue many strays. She is loved very much and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Karen is survived by her husband, Gary Weisz of Toppenish, WA; her brothers Rick (Cindi) Dillman of Toppenish, WA, and Ron (Leslie) Dillman of Yakima, WA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her cherished canine companions.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patti LaMotte.

At her request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers please make donations to any no kill animal shelter of the donor’s choice in memory of Karen.

Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah is in care of the arrangements. Online condolences can be left at www.valleyhillsfh.com.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I became acquainted with Karen over the past several years while she was working as a caregiver. She was the type of person who truly cared for others. The clients she cared for truly appreciated her kindness and compassion and spoke fondly of her all the time. I am grateful to have met her and will always think of her.

It has been a while since I have seen Aunt Karen, but thought of her often. I have many wonderful childhood memories with her, uncle Gary and the family. Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas days, to many to list She will always remain in my heart. I am especially thankful for when mom passed away and how she stepped up and was blessing that helped us get through the hard times. Like Mom, Aunt Karen had a undying love for animals. I think it runs in the family!! I remember she used to keep dog food in her trunk, and should she come across a stray, that she could not catch to rescue, she would always leave it food and water. She was a wonderful caring and loving Aunt and person. Now you are with mom (Patti) and Grandma. I know when they met her at the gates, grandma was smiling and saying "Now I have both my girls!!" Love you Aunt Karen. Say hello to everyone up there for me!!
Love you. Tammy Stewart
