Charles Francis Eastman, 91, of Yakima died Saturday, December 24.
Mr. Eastman was born in Danville, Va. He served in the Army in the 82nd Airborne Division during World War II. He retired as a self-employed retail distributor in the San Francisco Bay area after 41 years. He moved from Oakland, Calif., to the Yakima area more than 18 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Eastman of Yakima; two sons, Richard Eastman of Yakima and Charles F. Eastman Jr. of Glendale, Calif.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A family graveside service will take place in Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Yakima.
