Stanley F. Arquette
Stan Arquette went to be with his mom and dad on December 21, 2011. He was born May 19, 1945 to Tom and Geri Arquette in Ellensburg, WA. After graduating from high school he moved to the Kent, Washington area. He married Mary Gibb and they had two children, Terry and Lisa. In 1976 the family moved to Brownstown, Washington. Stan started his 31 years at the Yakima Post Office. Stan married his 2nd wife and had a daughter Tanisha. Stan was proud to be an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation.

Stan loved a good joke, good party, and good fight. His house was always a gathering place for a big campfire. Everyone sitting around telling stories and laughing. Stan loved lighting off fireworks. He always found a reason to set them off.

Even with his health problems and having to live in a nursing home he never gave up flirting with the women.

He is survived by his children, Terry (Dora) Arquette, Lisa (Jay) Gilmour, and Tanisha (Jose). Brothers Tom (Ann) , Sergio (Stacy). Sister Linda (Joe). Grandchildren Cassie, Dylan, Kyle, and Jordan. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was especially close to his Uncle Bill, Aunt Norma and friend Roy.

He will be laid to rest at the Zillah Cemetery December 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Dinner to follow. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah is in care of the arrangements. Online condolences can be left at www.valleyhillsfh.com

I will miss my uncle very much. Stan and my Grandpa taught me many things when it came to being a man how to hunt fish and have a good time. I'm so sad for me but so happy he ain't got the health problems anymore. Their are so many things going through my head the past few days about him but I just don't know where to start. I LOVE YOU UNCLE you will be missed by your people

Lisa and Terry, I am so sorry for your loss, me and my kids loved your dad he was a very special friend to me and uncle to them. They talked a lot about him, he will be missed. Sandra Gibb
He will live forever in our thoughts and hearts. I will miss the devilish twinkle in his eye that he had just before he was about to do something he knew would make everyone entertained. The outrageously wonderful pig him and Terry would cook and the food he lovingly shared to those walking by in need of nourishment. We will miss him immensely. Fran Seward, cousin
I know we all love him. No it's not loved, We will always love STAN, Oh we will miss him everyday. We will see him when the rockets flair and the firecrakers pop. When we are sharing stories and what ever around the fire pit, We will see him in the flames. We will remember the kisses and the hug. I will miss his showing up at my house with Roses to say forgive me for the pants thing at the fire pit! He knew I did but he just brought them anyway. I love him so much. As I love you all. Clara and family.
My sympathy to the family
Our thoughts and love go out to Stan's family during this time. What wonderful times we've had over the years at Stan's in Brownstown... the barbecues, bonfires, and fireworks. Jess and Stan were partners in beer, parties, and fights. As time went on, our boys (Spencer and Evan) loved spending time at Stan's. LOVE YOU, STAN. From the Wolfe Family (Jess, Clarissa, Spencer, and Evan)
