Willard Dennis Turcott, age 84 died in Yakima, Washington August 23, 2011. He was born in Tacoma, Washington June 2, 1927. He served his country's call to arms in both WWII and Korea. Upon his return to his beloved Yakima Valley, he met Roberta Jean Work and they married June 2, 1954, starting a long life together. They had an orchard operation for many years.
Willard was proceeded in death by his parents and his wife.
Willard is survived by his 4 children and 6 grandchildren: Rhoda (Sean) Benson, Carrie, Kelly and Natalie of Zillah, WA, Matthew (Tami) Turcott, Rachel and Ashley of Everett, WA, Melisa Turcott of Mercer Island, WA, Huston (Danielle) Turcott, Autumn of Yakima, WA.
At his request there will be no funeral service, just a family gathering to take care of his last wishes. Willard had a long, happy, and prosperous life. He says "bye" to you all and has gone to rejoin his wife.
