Robert Eugene Summers, 67, of Union Gap died Monday, AUgust 24 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mr. Summers was born in Walla Walla and served in the military. He worked as a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Summers of Union Gap; a son, Jason R. Summers of Union Gap; a daughter, Jennifer Summers of Leavenworth, Wash.; and his sister, Virginia L. Brown of Walla Walla.
At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.

Marie, Jason and Jennifer; Sorry for your loss. During the past 4 years of getting to know you during Robert's care I learned that he was truly a remarkable man.
