Rogelio Vaca Soto, 19, of Wapato passed away on August 23, 2009 at Toppenish Community Hospital. He was born on September 1, 1989 to Rodolfo Vaca Vaca and Maria Carmen Soto in Michoacan, Mexico. Mr. Vaca Soto was a laborer in the agricultural field.
He is survived by his mother Maria Carmen Soto; brothers Jamie Vaca Soto of Walla Walla, Antoino Vaca Soto, Omar Vaca Soto and Arturo Vaca Soto all of Wapato, Martine and Bernardo Vaca Soto of Mexico and sisters Guadalupe Vaca and Maria Ester Vaca.
Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday September 2, 2009 at Valley Hills Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday September 2 also at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday September 3, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 212 N. 4th St. Yakima, with burial to follow at Jungapeo Cemetery, Michoacan, Mexico.
