William "Randy" Collins
On August 18, 2011 Randy passed peacefully in his home with his wife and daughter at his side after a valiant 4-˝ year battle with kidney cancer.

Randy was born April 23, 1956 to William Lee and Lillie Mae Collins. Together they raised 10 children in the Toppenish/Buena area.
After the sudden death of Randy’s father, Lillie married Everett M. Banks.
Randy was then raised and mentored by Everett.
They worked together as General Contractors for many years building custom homes, they were known for their beautiful craftsmanship and integrity. Randy later started his own construction business and then worked for Landmark Management Co. from 2006-2010 until he was forced to stop working due to his illness.

On February 3, 1979 Randy married Gail Lynne Duncan. Together they had 2 children Kaela Renee and Chad Randall. Randy was very proud of his children and their spouses. He was fortunate to see the marriage of his son Chad to Tara Jo and Randy was honored to walk his daughter Kaela down the isle to Eddy Flores.
Randy took much pride & joy being “Papa” to his beloved grandchildren Ethan, Kali Jo, Laila, and Gracie.

Randy will forever be remembered by his loving wife Gail, children Kaela (Eddy) Flores and Chad (Tara Jo) Collins, Treasured grandchildren Ethan and Laila Flores and Kali Jo and Gracie Collins, mother In-law Barbara Kroes, Father In-law Jack Duncan, Siblings Jerry (Mary) Collins, Jim Collins, Shirley (Buster) Windsor, Ben (Linda) Collins, Larry (Ruth) Collins, Susan Brestar (Terry Larimar), and Sherrie (Mike) Bushman, Sister In-laws Frances (Sam Hayes) and Kaye Collins.
Brother In-law Gary Duncan, Special nephew Bill (Jennifer) Collins, and many more nieces, nephews, and countless wonderful friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Everett M. Banks, and brothers Bud and Donnie Collins.

The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to the caring staff at Northstar Lodge, especially Dr. Tony Ha and nurses Janet, Lynette, and Toni.

Also a special thank you to everyone that has been there for our family during this difficult time.
At Randy’s request there will be no service. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at the Collins home on September 3, 2011.

Arrangements are in the care of Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah.
