Richard A. Kingrey
Richard (Dick) Alan Kingrey, of Zillah, died August 19, 2011.

Richard was born in Toppenish on May 17, 1934 to Chester A. and Mary (Teegarden) Kingrey. He enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduating from Yoncalla High School in Yoncalla, OR in 1952.

He was a trucker for thirty-eight years and worked for Brader Hauling Service before they became Haney Truck Lines in 1985. He was the Washington State Truck Driver of the year in 1988 and before retiring was credited with over two million accident-free miles.

Survivors include four sons including Shane (Kathy) of Redding, CA, Tyrone of Onalaska, WA, Don and Dan, Tumwater, WA; one stepson Billy (Sue) of Onalaska, WA; one daughter, Missy (Ronnie) Wade of Waterville, WV; three brothers, Clyde (Ruby) Kingrey of Blackfoot ID, Sam (Lynn) Kingrey of LaPine, OR and Ivan (Nona) Kingrey of Springfield, OR; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; best friend and companion, Patricia Costello and family.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, baby son Leroy, brother Donald Kingrey, two sisters, Mary Lou Hannewinkle and Ruby Merle McDaniels.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 1, 2011 from 1-3 p.m. at the Zillah Civic Center in Zillah, WA.
