Marco Antonio Alaniz, 53, of Mabton died Wednesday. Mr. Alaniz was born in Los Angeles. He worked as a mechanic and lived in Mabton for nine years.
Survivors include a son, Eric Anthony Alaniz of California; a daughter, Melissa Alaniz of California; his mother, Frances Alaniz of Mabton; a sister, Rosa Torres of Mabton; and two brothers, Frank Alaniz and Robert Alaniz, both of California.
Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m., all at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Mabton City Cemetery.
